The Ukrainian government has approved a new pilot project called "eCherha," offering expedited border crossing for companies holding Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status. This initiative enables businesses to benefit from priority lanes and faster customs formalities, reducing delays and streamlining logistics. Already, 71 Ukrainian companies have obtained AEO status.
Additionally, firms operating under the Common Transit Convention (NCTS) and the TIR Convention will also have access to the priority queue.
Efforts are currently underway to establish an information exchange between the State Customs Service and the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, ensuring that AEO status and T1 transit declarations are accounted for in the "eCherha" system.
