Moving oversized cargo is rarely straightforward, and this project was no exception.
The shipment consisted of heavy equipment transported on two low-loader trailers from Scotland to the Sumy region of Ukraine-a journey of approximately 3,000 km.
The first challenge arose at the loading site, where the planned crane was unavailable. Instead, the 25-tonne piece of equipment had to be loaded directly from the ground onto the trailer using a forklift. Thanks to the excellent coordination between the shipper’s team and our experienced drivers, the loading was completed safely and successfully.
The journey itself required careful planning and handling, as the equipment was particularly sensitive. Our drivers did an outstanding job, ensuring secure transport over the entire route.
There were also several documentation issues that had to be resolved along the way, but our team managed them efficiently without compromising the delivery schedule.
The equipment arrived safely at its destination, adding another successful project to our portfolio of oversized transport solutions.
