Today, November 23, the announced blockade of freight traffic has commenced at the "Medyka – Shehyni" border crossing on the Polish-Ukrainian border. According to Polish authorities, protesters are continuously moving across the pedestrian crossing on the Polish side, hindering truck movement.
Previously, the following restrictions for freight vehicles were announced:
- entering Ukraine: one truck per hour;
- exiting Ukraine: movement of trucks over 3.5 tons is completely blocked.
Protesters did not intend to restrict the movement of buses and passenger cars in both directions.
The blockade is preliminarily announced to last until the end of the year.
We will provide further updates as the situation develops.
