Parking lot for 600 trucks to be built at the “Yahodyn-Dorohusk” border crossing

A modern parking zone for trucks will soon appear at the "Yahodyn-Dorohusk" border crossing on the Ukrainian-Polish border. The new facility will cover 13 hectares and accommodate up to 600 trucks. The project is financed through a grant from the European Union.

 

In addition to building the parking zone, the initiative will include the repair of access roads, modernization of road surfaces, and implementation of safety measures, including improved lighting.

 

Key objectives of the project:  

- Restoration of the M-07 highway leading to the border crossing.  

- Reduction of truck queues and their environmental impact.  

- Optimization of traffic flows and reduction of waiting times at the border.  

- Increased safety and capacity at the crossing point.  

 

"Yahodyn-Dorohusk" is one of the largest customs crossings between Ukraine and Poland. This project will enhance logistics efficiency, reduce delays at the border, and strengthen economic and transport ties between Ukraine and the European Union.
