Starting March 11, Ukraine's electronic border queue system eQueue will expand to cover all licensed freight vehicles, including those weighing over 3.5 tons. Previously, the system was only available for trucks over 7.5 tons.
What This Means for Freight Carriers: From now on, all trucks must book a slot in eQueue before crossing the border. This will: - Eliminate physical queues at border checkpoints - Optimize logistics and waiting times - Reduce corruption risks
Step-by-Step Expansion: - March 11 – First checkpoints open for registration at borders with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova - March 18 – Additional border crossings added - March 25 – Final expansion to all remaining checkpoints
Carriers must choose the correct queue based on vehicle weight. Incorrect registration may result in denial of border crossing and loss of the booked slot.
